The third day marks a first break from the stopwatch. Heading towards north-eastern Morocco for a first bivouac set up at the eastern edge of the country, to reach terrain suited to racing, which will resume the following day. One last moment of calm for competitors, who will quickly have to get used to January's morning temperatures. A transfer north of the Atlas ranges marked by acclimatisation.
