This special stage, with its two distinct aspects, begins with a rocky terrain, where several parameters must be considered. Driving is not always easy when weaving in and out of narrow passages, and the hard-packed terrain could lead to a series of punctures. A pit stop will be positioned halfway through the special stage, before tackling sandy sections that are fairly fast and dotted with small dunes. The rather modest distance does not quite reflect the wide variety of terrain on this stage.
