Smara > Smara
The loop special stage around Smara is the third longest of the route. As always, this also means that the pace is higher. Fast plateaus, sand, small dunes: the southern landscapes will vary and unfold one last time. This is also where competitors will encounter the highest proportion of wadis and sandy canyons. One final tour through the endless desert expanses before finding the Atlas Mountains once again as a landmark on the way to the final bivouac in Marrakech.
