ALULA > HAIL

The first 200 km of the timed section will test the patience and vigilance of the field on volcanic, rock-strewn terrain. Once again, drivers and navigators will sleep better the night before the stage knowing that fresh tyres will be waiting at a pit stop. The second part takes place on faster terrain, but the navigational puzzle will limit the pace. The dearth of distinctive landmarks on the plateaus means any seconds gained on raw speed could turn into a loss of minutes looking for the right track.
