The Dakar Rally has not raced through Wadi ad-Dawasir since 2022, so this comeback is well worth a beautiful loop through the region. The longest special stage of the year will appeal to the most versatile drivers, capable of setting a fast pace on off-road plateaus, navigating canyon crossings through the vegetation, and remaining composed despite sudden changes in direction. Certainly one of the most complete stages of the fortnight: a full meal, as they say!
