AL DUWADIMI > MARATHON REFUGE
The first part of the special is a long series of tracks hemmed in by narrow canyons, but this cramped feeling will go away once the field reaches much faster sections on open terrain. The highlight of Act I of the marathon refuge stage will be two epic dune sectors: one stretching for about 50 km near the halfway point, and the other, spanning 100 km, with the FIA and FIM courses running in parallel. Keeping their tyres in one piece will be a top priority for the riders. Trucks in T5.2 will race on an adapted course.
