MARATHON AL BAHAH > KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY
As a special treat, this stage will finish on the seaside. Beach race experts will be in their element at the beginning, at least until the sea spray becomes a distant memory. The course will deviate from the coastline on multiple occasions, leaving the sand and small dunes behind to embark on a mountain expedition. This special, just shy of 500 km, will bring the marathon stage total to 900 klicks. Both man and machine will be nearing breaking point by now, so whichever title contenders have a bit extra left in the tank will enjoy a major advantage.
