Matthieu Serradori's first podium finish on the ninth stage of the rally moved him up from eighth to sixth place in the overall rankings. Just 3 minutes behind Giniel de Villiers, the Century Racing driver is still in with a chance of a top-five finish in Yanbu.

“For me, the stage was perfect, with third position for me. We were on full attack today. The navigation was good with my co-pilot Loïc Minaudier. We had no mistakes, no punctures. I’m very happy for the team and myself”.
