Guillaume De Mevius: “It was really a tough day”

Guillaume de Mevius, the best rookie on this Dakar 2024, completed another solid stage between Ha'il and Alula. Fourth, less than ten minutes behind Sébastien Loeb, and fourth in the general rankings, the Toyota driver remains on the lookout for a place on the final podium.

“It was a difficult day for us today, to be honest, it was really a tough day. We had one puncture and we got lost a little bit. We were in the dust of Seth and then with Lucas we were battling for third and fourth for a long time. So, it was a difficult day and long, but we are still here and it’s not a bad time, I think. We will see, there are still three days left”.
