Guillaume de Mevius: "Opening the road was no joke"

After taking his first stage win in the Ultimate class yesterday, Guillaume de Mevius discovered the "joys" of opening the road today. The Belgian came in nineteenth, almost 27 minutes down on "Peter", and currently sits fifth overall at 1′44″.

"It started well enough, the first 200 kilometres went smoothly. 215 km into the special, we made a little mistake, Carlos overtook us, we got caught up in his dust and then we got lost several times before we had a puncture. But here we are. Opening the road was no joke, that's for sure."
