For our industry is developing based on a well-thoughtout approach interweaved with the highest levels of excellence and creativity, as per the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Also providing his incomparable guidance is HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, along with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Abdullah Al Faisal, Minister of sport and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.

Today, Saudi Arabia’s sporting capabilities are transcending borders, with the Kingdom establishing itself as a reputable host for some of the largest events and competitions in the world. It is in line with the nation’s vision to become a leader in the sector, cementing its position as a premier hub for local, regional, and international sporting tournaments.

Preparing to host the phenomenal Dakar Rally for the third time in a row – and of course, Formula One World Championship for the first time this year – clearly demonstrates the level at which the Kingdom is participating on the global sports, and particularly motorsports, arena. Over the past year and a half, the world has endured difficult and challenging conditions.

But despite these difficulties, the nation created a distinctive case study for the rest of the world events’ industry by hosting a global sporting tournament of large magnitude in the midst of the pandemic. This year, we take advantage of the great momentum gained hosting the last two editions of Dakar Rally, using those experiences to bring to you Saudi’s biggest edition yet. Yet again, we will showcase the Kingdom’s capabilities in hosting large-scale sporting events.
