Stéphane Peterhansel has seen his commanding lead of nearly 10 minutes over Ronald Basso at km 207 cut to 4′22″ over Sara Price and 6′31″ over Rokas Baciuška at km 234. The Defender trident are keeping up the pace at km 262 and appear to be on track for a new podium lock-out.
