AMBITIONS 2025
H.S.: “This will be my 12th Dakar. I have stood on the Truck podium three times with one win and two second places. In 2008, after the Dakar was cancelled, I won the Truck class in both the Central Europe Rally and the Transorientale Rally. Over the years, I’ve secured 18 stage wins with DAF, MAN, and IVECO. I’ve been working on our Classic Audi Quattro for the past three years, developing and improving it with Auto Sport Veghel. Together with my teammates, we’ve formed ‘The Dutch Quattro Legends,’ driving four identical Audis. As a team, we bring about 40 years of Dakar experience. For me, the goal this year is simple: to enjoy driving the stages, push for the win, and have fun with our team.”
A.V.L.: “This will be my 9th Dakar and my goal this year is simple: to finish and have a great time!”
