- Cesare Zacchetti is preparing for his eighth Dakar and will once again compete in the "Original by Motul" category.
- In Dakar 2024, he became the first rider on a Chinese motorcycle to finish the rally in Original by Motul, completing the race on the Kove 450 Rally.
- Over the past year, he participated in several races in Tunisia, Greece, as well as the Transanatolia Rally and he also competed in the Italian Motorally Championship.
- The Dakar 2025 ended a few kilometers before the finish due to a technical problem, a moment that initially made him consider ending his Dakar journey, before deciding to return once more, this time on a Honda.
Ambición
“Dakar 2025 did not end well for me. A few kilometers before the end, I had a technical issue and I could not complete the race. When I went back home, I thought it was my last Dakar. Then I changed my mind, and here I am again in the Original by Motul category. This year I travelled by motorcycle through many countries, which has now become my new job, and it kept me connected to riding every day. For Dakar 2026, I want to support my friend Andrea Gava in his first Dakar and help him through this great adventure. At the same time, I will try to enjoy my own race and reach the finish line again in the spirit of Original by Motul.”
