Yazeed Al Rajhi: "We made it here and that's what matters"

Yazeed Al Rajhi flew under the radar and landed in second place overall after finishing stage 2 in fifth place, seven minutes behind Stéphane Peterhansel. The Saudi is just two minutes down on the new leader, Carlos Sainz.

"It wasn't as stony as yesterday, but navigating was pretty hard today. We had to backtrack several times. But we made it here and that's what matters. I was gentle on the car and tyres every time we were on jagged terrain."
