Henk Lategan: "We started getting a bit of a rhythm"

Henk Lategan's fourth place in the eighth and last stage of the first week of racing solidified his grip on second place overall. The South African trails Nasser Al Attiyah by over an hour, so finishing on the podium in Dammam is his sole objective.

"It was another tricky day, very difficult navigation and, in the beginning, a lot of rocks. Actually, the whole stage had a lot of rocks. It was alternating all day between dunes and rocks. We started sixth this morning and, at some stage, we were running third on the road. It was getting a bit tricky with the navigation, with a lot of tracks to follow at the end. We tried not to make any big mistakes. The first two days were not the best, but from then on we started getting a bit of a rhythm."
