Crashing down the standings to over 5 hours behind Al Attiyah yesterday has not dampened the enthusiasm of the BRX driver, who continued to shine with the third fastest time of the day.

"It was a fantastic special. We struggled a bit with the navigation. We also had a flat tyre and then we found ourselves in the mix: first it was Nasser who has ahead, then Seb, then me… It really was an exciting duel. The cars were fine today. It's basically just the bodywork. Looks can be deceiving, we were careful out there."
