Carlos Sainz: "We gave Mattias our suspension"

No longer in contention for a podium place in Dammam, Carlos Sainz was the ideal teammate in stage 7. The Audi driver was hoping to score a success in today's super-fast special, but he stopped to help Mattias Ekström fix his car.
 

"Yet another bad day for us… This is definitely not our lucky rally. But we'll keep going to learn more and more. I stopped to give Mattias my suspension and we had to wait for over three hours before our service truck arrived and helped us get back on the move."
