17e du jour, VBA a ouvert la spéciale et laisse échapper 9 minutes sur le meilleur temps du jour. Mais il reste 5e du général à 15 mn et va partir derrière demain.

“It was a good day. You know it’s always difficult to open. I caught Ross after 40 km and then I opened for almost all the stage. I feel good and I feel fast on this terrain, but again, when you open, you know that you lose time. For sure, quite a lot of the guys at the back caught me, but this is it. I don’t know if I’m on the good side of the strategy for the next days. It’s a bit frustrating to able to go fast on this terrain and I don’t know about the timing. For sure, I give the best every moment, every minute and we will see”.
