Rokas Baciuška: "Pedal to the metal"

Racing in his first Dakar, the young Lithuanian claimed a special and is nearing the finish in fourth place overall, roughly seven minutes down on third-placed Michał Goczał.

"I put the pedal to the metal today and it worked. I also needed my co-driver to galvanise me and do a superb job… We did it. It's my first year, I'm top rookie, I'm ecstatic. Now, I just want to finish the race. You never know if I can end up on the podium, but if I take too many risks, there will be no podium at all for me!"
