Joan Barreda came in second in the special that saw Nacho Cornejo crash out of the race, 3 minutes behind Ricky Brabec. The Spaniard remains 15 minutes behind new leader Kevin Benavides with his podium chances intact.

"I started in third place and the dust made it quite hard to overtake the others. I could barely see where I was going... In the end, it was a good day for me, especially after crashing yesterday. I had a good feeling with my bike, it was a good stage for me."
