The Frenchman went toe to toe with the leaders of the race to finish in fourth place for the second stage in a row.
"It was a long, super-fast stage. It's tough to stay focused when you spend so much time going flat out, as obstacles can appear out of the blue at any time. This is being a gruelling rally for me. I crashed in the opening stage and hurt my arm badly. I've still got bruises and muscular. Moving up the classification is nice, but it's not my main goal. What I want is to make it to the finish."
