“It’s not turning out as I would have liked it to. I’m focusing on navigation because it’s difficult, but in the meantime, I’m not accelerating and I’m losing time. I’m losing ground because I’m not quick enough and what’s more I’ve struck several rocks. As a result, I damaged my front wheel, making the bike a bit instable, which didn’t help my confidence at all. I’m struggling to find the right balance between navigation and speed. I’m not that worried about it, but I need to force myself to find my footing. I’m disappointed with how it’s going, but I need to let go of my anger and hope that tomorrow things will be better”.
