“Dakar is a fulltime job”

M.P.: “Being a professional motorbike rider isn’t as easy as people might think. It’s much more than just two weeks of riding a bike. All year long I am busy training, but also working to get sponsors, being at events for promotion and tell my Dakar story as a motivational speaker for business clubs, companies and other organisations. Every Monday I make a plan for the rest of the week, making many miles in all parts of the country. By doing so I meet a lot of interesting and passionate people, not only in the rally community but also business people, doing what they do with heart and soul.”
