“It was a real Dakar stage – really tough”

Jakub Przygonski is applying himself to the task each day. The Polish rider finished on the podium of the fourth stage in third position, only 8’32” behind Nasser Al-Attiyah on a terrain that was incredibly difficult. In the general standings, Jakub occupies fourth place, hot on the heels of Nani Roma.

“Today we were overtaking and overtaking – we passed a lot of cars. We had a feeling inside that we had a good rhythm and we are so happy. We got one puncture, but that is normal on this hard terrain. It was a real Dakar stage – really tough, hard dunes, really hard dunes with a lot of stones at some points, but we enjoyed it. The navigation was not so easy, but we started in twelfth position and it made the route quite clear, but two times we were out of the track and we had to come back, but we are really happy with this stage”.
