Ales Loprais: “We had to slow down to fifteen kilometres per hour to just get to the finish”

Despite a difficult special, the Czech driver achieved the day’s fourth best time in the truck race. It is also his position in the general standings.

“The beginning was nice and we were pushing nicely. We avoided punctures and were in third all the time, but on the last part our exhaust fell off so we had to slow down because we were afraid of a fire starting and losing the brakes. So, we had to slow down to fifteen kilometres per hour to just get to the finish”.
