Ignacio Cornejo: “I was hoping to recover so more time”

More than thirty minutes behind the general rankings leader, “Nacho” is in the same situation as Price and Brabec.

“It was a very fast stage. They said it could be very difficult with the navigation and there were some areas where you had to navigate, but the differences between the riders were not that much. I was hoping to recover more time. Anyway, it was a good day, I had a good feeling with the bike and I was happy with the riding. We’re keeping the same attitude, the same goal which is to climb as much as we can in the overall rankings, so we’re going to do our best over the next three stages. On the first day I lost a lot of time and on this second week I’m just trying to make up the time I lost there. I’m getting closer to the top guys slowly, but I think I’m recovering some of that time lost. So, I’ll give my best to try and recover as much as I can over the last three days”.
