The French rider posted the fourth best time of the day. Fourth is also his place in the general standings, 3 hours and 30 minutes behind the untouchable Argentinean Nicolás Cavigliasso.

“It was a complicated day, with quite a lot of navigation. I caught up with Nico, the Argentinean, which was rather good, but then I made a navigation mistake. That’s not what he does and it’s his strength. I managed to get back on the track and I rode a good special, but it wasn’t sufficient to do any better than fourth place”.
