João Ferreira: "One of the fastest in a while"

João Ferreira delivered his top performance of the week in second place, 4'27" behind Mattias Ekström. The Portuguese driver equalled his result from stage 6 in 2024, his best in a stage of the Dakar.

"It was one of the fastest in a while, we hit 170 km/h all the time. It wasn't a difficult stage, there were loads of bushes, we lost some carbon fibre and paid attention to changes of direction."
