Manuel Andujar: “I’ve come to the Dakar to try and keep my title”

The title holder in the quad category lost a lot of time due to problems with his injectors yesterday but has already started to claw back the time lost with victory on the day’s special.

“There were a lot of dunes and a lot of tracks on the dunes. It was a really nice stage. The weather is a little bit cold today, but it was a nicer day for me. I’ve come to the Dakar to try and keep my title, but on the first day I had a lot of problems with my quad, though now I am taking the time back again. I will try my best. I’m fifty minutes behind the leader, but I will try to do it”.
