The Monster Energy Honda HRC rider, who finished third in the last two editions, suffered a heavy fall but managed to reach the finishing line. He now trails Daniel Sanders, the new race leader, by 14'09’’.

“It was a tough day. I was riding ok at the beginning. I realised my tyre was opening at the refuelling but it went well. I had a big crash a bit after the refuelling. I hit a tree but it’s part of the race. I have nothing more to say. Today was not the best day”.
