Sara Price: “We’re not giving up”

Sara Price, whose hopes for overall victory fell apart at the beginning of the rally, picked up her second stage win today. The American, who finished fourth last year, is learning on the Dakar and has proved with this new stage victory that she will be a driver to watch in the future.

“This is going to be a Dakar to remember. It’s had a lot of ups and downs, a lot more downs than ups. Last year it was just so consistent, we had a lot of ups and one down. So, this is going to be one to remember. Obviously, I’m out of the overall standings but we’re making the most out of it, every stage and every day. We’re not giving up. I think that’s important and it’s really cool to show that to other people”.
