Luciano Benavides: "Everyone played their part"

The winner of the previous two stages, fourth overall, spent the day at the front, having to deal with both dune sickness and the strategy of his rivals.  

"It was scorching in the Empty Quarter dunes, and at one point I started feeling sick. Not the best feeling, but I gave it everything I had. I was opening the road today and everyone played their part. I'll see how the others finish up, and whether they took the gamble of backing off, but that's all part of the game."
