RALLY GP | Double delight for Sanders
The winner of the prologue, Daniel Sanders, has done it again, claiming victory in stage 1. The Australian finished 2′04″ ahead of Ricky Brabec and 2′26″ clear of Ross Branch. Tosha Schareina, who was just 18″ behind Sanders at the previous waypoint, completed the stage 4′42″ off the leader’s pace. Skyler Howes, who clocked in at 14′49″, will have the time he spent assisting the injured Sebastian Bühler reinstated, which ought to bring him closer to the stage podium.
ULTIMATE | Chicherit claims stage 1
Guerlain Chicherit has taken stage 1 with 50 seconds to spare over Seth Quintero. The Frenchman fought his way through an army of bushes, losing parts of his vehicle in the process but netting Mini their first victory since the 2021 Dakar.
