BIKES | KLEIN HAS ONE HAND ON HIS FIRST VICTORY
Mason Klein has accomplished the best time at the fishing line of the day’s special. However, he is likely to receive a penalty for speeding. That said, with a lead of 3 minutes over the second placed rider, a 2-minute penalty should not deprive him of his first stage victory.
QUADS | GIROUD WINS AS ANDÚJAR FALTERS!
Alexandre Giroud has held on to the end to win. Although Manuel Andújar could also claim victory, the Argentinean cracked in the last section of the special and lost more than 7’ to his French rival. Second place went to Pablo Copetti. Francisco Moreno Flores has completed the day’s top 3.
CARS | AL ATTIYAH PIPS VAN LOON AT THE POST
Nasser Al Attiyah has won the day’s special, depriving Erik Van Loon of victory by only 14 seconds. Now the wait starts for Lionel Baud, the 74th driver to start, to find out if the Frenchman or Carlos Sainz completes the day’s top 3, unless, of course, there is another surprise.

Mitchell Guthrie is victorious! Having managed to gain time all along the route, the American did not give an inch and has finished 1’30’’ ahead of “Chaleco” López, who keeps the lead in the general rankings.
TRUCKS | VAN KASTEREN PENALISED!
Janus Van Kasteren has received a 15’ penalty for missing a way point and as a result he misses out on victory. Instead, Aleš Loprais renews with success. Behind the wheel of his Praga, the Czech driver has taken the lead in the general rankings.
SSV | MAREK GOCZAŁ WINS STAGE 2
When it is not Eryk, the son, like yesterday, it is the turn of his father Marek to climb on to the top step of the day’s podium. The Polish driver is the day’s winner in the SSV category and should regain control of the general rankings.
