“My first memory of the Dakar dates back to 1987, when the first Czech crew was starting on Dakar rally. Since then, the Dakar has become popular in our country. I have always loved rally raid, but my first step into becoming part of it was when I won Czech championship and the price for winner was a free starting fee on an International rally. There I met Dakar legend Josef Machacek and I started preparing for my first Dakar Rally with him. Last year I made my debut. I suffered several technical problems, but in the end I made till the end. I look forward to return this year. I have never been in Peru, so it will great to discover this new country. For me Dakar Rally is about desert, long stages, extreme adventure and lots of stamina both for the rider and the machine”.
