“The Dakar has become a way of life to me, as it is part of daily life all year long. Especially this year, with building the new truck all by ourselves. Since I entered for the first time in 2015 much has changed. We have merged with team Dakarspeed now and both will be driving the new Scania Torpedo truck. It’s a fabulous truck. A real racing monster. When I first tried it, I was deeply impressed. So we are here with a 100% new truck, which is 100% better than what we had before, and with a new crew with 300% more experience. If this continues in the result, we’ll end up on the podium!”
