Yasir Seaidan: We took it easy from the beginning

Dakar 2025 | Stage 11 | SHUBAYTAH > SHUBAYTAH
January 16 th 2025 - 18:38 [GMT + 3]

Yasir Seaidan won his third stage of the rally after having lost all hope of overall triumph following a steering problem at the beginning of the race. The Saudi driver continued the race with the goal of placing himself as high as he could on stages and picking up the related world championship points. The BBR driver and 2024 SSV world champion is aiming for the W2RC Challenger title in 2025.

“It was hard, really hard. For this stage, most of it was from last year’s marathon, I think, with the same start and same finish. It was a really hard stage, tough, with lots of cars and lots of problems. We took it easy from the beginning. We know we are fast but we needed to avoid breaking the car, so we took it easy”.
