TRUCK | Macik wins stage 11

Martin Macik has picked up his fifth victory on the 47th edition of the Dakar, winning the special in the truck category by only 7’’ ahead of Kees Koolen. The Czech driver, who has a solid lead in the general rankings, is well set to keep his place on the top of the pile in the truck race, with an advantage that has now climbed to more than 2 hours 25 minutes over Mitchel van den Brink.

As for Van den Brink, he has gained more than 1’30’’ over Ales Loprais on this stage and holds onto third place in the general rankings, with a lead of 5’ over the Czech driver.

BIKES | Schareina wins in the Empty Quarter

Tosha Schareina has won stage 11 ahead of Luciano Benavides (by 33’’) and Adrien Van Beveren (by 57’’). The Spaniard has picked up his second stage success on the race following the prologue of the 2024 edition. He is the seventh different winner on the 2025 edition after Daniel Sanders (the prologue plus stages 1, 2, 4 and 7), Luciano Benavides (stages 8 and 9), Lorenzo Santolino (stage 3), Adrien Van Beveren (stage 5), Ricky Brabec (stage 6) and Michael Docherty (stage 10).

RALLY 2 | Dovèze takes the win

Mathieu Dovèze has won the stage in the Rally 2 class by 20 seconds ahead of his team-mate Toni Mulec. Konrad Dabrowski has finished 3rd, 5’18’’ behind, with Frenchmen Romain Dumontier and Benjamin Melot completing the day’s top 5 7 minutes behind.
