Guillaume De Mevius: “Overall, I thought it was a good stage”

Guillaume De Mevius, the winner of stage six ahead of Austin Jones, took three more minutes from his American rival. Less than ten minutes separate the two men in the general rankings, whilst behind them Seth Quintero occupies third place, but more than one hour behind.  

“It was a nice stage today with a lot of dunes and a lot of sand – only sand – with a tricky part in the middle before the refuelling. Overall, I thought it was a good stage. Now we have to wait for Casale to see who has won the stage, but I’m faster than the guy just behind me in the general rankings, so it’s a happy day”.
