Pablo Quintanilla: “I didn’t have a great feeling at the start”

 Honda rider Pablo Quintanilla finished 5th on the day’s stage, 3 minutes behind the winner and is now 4th in the general rankings, 14 minutes behind Skyler Howes.

 “It wasn’t an easy stage, the sand was very soft and some dunes were difficult to get over. I didn’t have a great feeling at the start, but I still managed to keep the pace. I think I’ve ridden a good stage and I’ve completed the first part of the marathon without having fallen or having any problems with the bike, which is important, because we only have 30 minutes to repair any problems at the finishing line”.
