The world number 1 finished 4th today and only regained 7 seconds on general rankings leader Rodrigo Luppi de Oliveira.
“It was a nice stage with all the sandy tracks and dunes. It was nice to drive in. It was not so easy. There were some difficult parts with awkward dunes and it was really dangerous. But we’ve survived one more day. We have eight days more and a lot of things can happen. I hope the care survives. The team are doing a good job and we can improve day by day, not taking risks, carrying on pushing at a good rhythm and I think we’ll do a good job”.
