A long-awaited comeback
Ten years after making his Dakar debut, Roman Krejci returns to the world's toughest rally in 2020. The change of scenery from South America to Saudi Arabia has convinced the 43-year-old to line up once again in the “Original by Motul” malle moto class, just as he did on his debut in 2010. He and Jan Vesely were both taking part in their maiden Dakar back then, and the two compatriots will team up again this year for the Ivar CS Team. The only Czech bikers taking part in the “Original by Motul” category, they are looking forward to doing the Dakar in what they consider the only proper way. Roman did assistance for Oldrich Brazina several times at the Dakar before entering himself, claiming an impressive 37th place in 2010. A recent second place at the El Chott Rallye in Tunisia showed that he is on solid form before embarking on his long-awaited Dakar comeback.
