“It wasn’t easy to open the special today, not because of the navigation, but because the dunes were very soft and all the vibrations made me feel sick. After about 60 km, Daniel Sanders caught up with me and then he opened and I followed. I think I rode a good special. I like this terrain and I’m having a lot of fun on it. There are still two days to go, so I’m going to keep pushing. I don’t want to think about the final result too much, but I’m going to try and do a solid stage tomorrow and we’ll see what happens at the finish”.
