Martin Macík: "A nice stage, kinda difficult"

Martin Macík finished third in stage 7, about 10 minutes from the stage winner, Aleš Loprais, but he remains firmly ensconced in the overall lead. The title holder is more than two hours ahead of his closest rivals.

"A nice stage. Kinda difficult, we had to stop a few times, we didn't want to help Mitchel, so we had to see what he was doing… Quite okay. A good pace, nothing special. We have to be careful and we have to be fast as well. [The others] are pushing. Yesterday it was Mitchel, today it's Aleš, so we'll just control it how we can and follow our pace. The truck is looking well and we're satisfied with it."
