Third in the stage to Al-ʿUla, behind Sunderland and Cornejo, the Argentinian rider is number 2 of the Honda 1-2-3 at the top of the general classification.

"Nacho, Ricky and I finished quite early and it was a great day, we pushed hard. I suffered a minor fall with 20 km to go after hitting a stone, but it's no big deal. I followed them, but even following them was already hard."
