“For sure, starting further back was a little bit of a better option today. It looks like there was a bit of a navigation error earlier on, which I kind of avoided. I went a little bit right again, but I fixed it quite quickly. I feel like I didn’t lose too much time. It looks like it’s not a bad result. I’ll be happy if I don’t have to open tomorrow. We’ll keep fighting because there’s still a long way to go and see what we can come up with. We did minor little things on the bike today, just checking brakes and spokes. We had a little air filter recover on the actual air filter so I just took that off, to make sure there were no leaks, no nothing, no issues. We had a good day, no crashes, no nothing, so it was good. We pushed where we could and tried to minimise the risks as much as we could and not lose so much time, but starting from the back, for sure, it meant we could try and gain some time today, so hopefully it’s worked out in the end”.
