Californian Mason Klein is living the American dream in Ha'il

"I wasn't very comfortable in the dunes near the start, so I was happy to see rocks and even the crazy climb we had, where I lost some time. Navigating was really difficult, but I took it one note at a time and I saw the people in front were making mistakes all the time, while I tried to stick to the roadbook. But I'm definitely not in my element on the dunes. Fourth, I would've never seen it coming. It feels incredible to be here. I think Skyler, my mentor and the main reason I'm here, will have a lot to say!"
