Eryk Goczał: “I am not good at tactics. I just get in the car, step on the gas and we see where we are”

Erik Goczał, more enthusiastic than ever behind the wheel of his Taurus T3 Max, has won the prologue on the Dakar 2024. The young Polish driver who is making his debut in the Challenger class is not lacking in ambitions.

“I think it was amazing, especially with a prologue like that. I didn’t exactly see the views, but by the road, but on the tracks it was very nice with a lot of terrain changes. It was beautiful. What I really enjoyed is that it was a fast prologue which will separate us from the cars, but I did my best to keep as close as I can and I think it’s a good win for tomorrow. To be honest, I am not good at tactics. I just get in the car, step on the gas and we see where we are”.
