- Konrad is the son of Marek Dabrowski, a huge reference in the polish motorsports world as a bike and car racer. He grew up watching the 15 Dakar races of his dad and followed him during his entire rally career. If you want to understand Konrad's behaviour, you need to turn to his father. Marek's Dakar career started one year before Konrad was born! The Dakar has been present in Konrad's life for as long as he can remember...
- It's not only about motorsports in the Dabrowski family. Between 7 and 12 years old, Konrad used to swim during his primary school years (up to 10 hours per week), which gave him a lot of endurance capacities. But swimming got to be « boring » at the end.
- While racing though, Konrad used to cheer two of the biggest names at that time, Marc Coma and Cyril Despres. He became later a huge fan of Toby Price, not only because of his riding skills but also of his life approach.
- For his first Dakar in 2021, Konrad Dabrowski became the youngest ever finisher in the bike class at 19 years old and a promising talent with a nice 28th spot. Just before the 2023 Dakar, Konrad was stuck down with appendicitis and had to give the race a miss.
- Konrad is nowadays one of the biggest experts of Dakar Rally within the under 25 young guns community. Last november, he won two events, the overall standings of the Qatar Baja with more than half an hour advance, and the Dubaï International Baja ! Konrad is on fire !
Ambición
"After nearly spending the last two months in Dubaï for training with Jean-Loup Lepan in our rally training center, I’m excited to put the work in and make the final push before the biggest race of the year. In 2025 I was able to achieve my goal of finishing well inside the Top 20 with a 16th place overall but I did come short of achieving the result I wanted in Rally 2. This year the focus is very similar. I want to beat my best ever results, finishing higher in the overall classification which means battling for at least top 15 and fight for a top 5 in Rally 2 with hopes of a podium in the class."
